Some great-value rental properties have caught your eye this month along with a few stylish rentals in commuting distance to London.

If you feel like a rental's gone before you can say "I’ll send you the Zoopla link", you’re not the only one.

Rents have risen 11.1% in the last year as demand from renters sits 10% higher than in 2022, according to our latest Rental Market Report.

Some of the most popular rental homes right now are located in the cheapest places to rent in 2023 as renters seek value for money during the cost-of-living crisis.

Others are spacious houses with good commuting options or sleek city apartments in vibrant areas.

Here are the most popular rental properties on Zoopla in April 2023.

1. Three bedroom terraced house to rent in Chorley, Lancashire: £750 per month

This three bedroom rental home in Chorley was the most-viewed rental property on Zoopla this month.

And it’s easy to see why, with an open-plan living room that was just made for nights in with the TV and a takeaway.

Three good-sized bedrooms, gas central heating and UPVC double glazing add to the appeal, along with the property's convenience for Chorley town centre and train station.

Listed by Ince Williamson, the unfurnished rental home is available on a 12+ month term and requires an £865 deposit.

The well-presented rental is good value for three bedrooms, sitting just £25 above the average rental rate of £725 in Chorley.

Rents in Chorley are rising at a steady rate, with renters paying 5.5% more than this time last year compared to an average 11.1% rise in rents across the UK.

2. One bedroom flat to rent in Nottingham: £875 per month

Next up we have this immaculate two bedroom flat to rent in Westminster.
