Outdoor, covered garden pens are housed in two, purpose built blocks of eight pens, hygienically spaced out with 2ft “sneeze gaps” between pens. Additionally, the cattery provides two, large pens with covered runs for families of up to four cats, and three smaller units which can be used for single or pairs of cats. The business - Owned and operated by its two partners for over 18 years now and purposely run very much as a lifestyle business, with a focus on providing a loving and caring environment, rather than for large commercial or financial gain. The cattery boasts a long list of discerning and loyal clients and was originally established some 30 years ago. Cattery income is consistently circa £54,670 per annum, with net profits in excess of £30,088 (11 months trading). The demand is certainly there to increase capacity by increasing staffing, applying for the increase to capacity and building further units (subject to planning permission) but our clients elected to keep things simple and manage the cattery themselves. For this reason the current licensed capacity is 50 cats.
