Overview

Why buy this home!

An entrance hall can set your mood when entering a home and a window at the end of this one not only provides an immediate view of the garden, but allows natural light in making it a bright and inviting space.

Natural light is a common theme throughout this home due to its numerous windows on all aspects. The living room is a very comfortable size and its shape makes it easy to have enough furniture for the whole family. Double doors lead to the rear garden from both here and the kitchen/breakfast room. The garden has a large patio area and raised flower beds. The current owners have also added a decking area big enough for table and chairs, perfect for when it's your turn to host the summer BBQs. Finally, there’s rear access to the garden and also access to the driveway and carport.

The kitchen itself is the real heart of this home and the main reason the current owner bought this house. It's easily big enough for a 6 seater dining table and you could add a breakfast bar/island, making it the perfect place to catch up with the family over breakfast and dinner. The grey Amtico flooring is a stylish yet practical addition to the kitchen, this is tastefully offset against sleek white high gloss units and wood effect worktops. Integrated appliances include a dishwasher, and fridge/freezer along with a gas hob and double oven.

Having an additional reception room adds another dimension and means your home can grow as your family does. Whether it's used as a generous study, formal dining room, sung or playroom as it's currently used, it's a feature you'll struggle to live without once you've had it. Downstairs is completed by a WC and under stairs storage cupboard.

On the first floor are four double bedrooms. The master has its own mini entrance hall and has been designed so you can have your wardrobes here, meaning you can treat yourself to a large bed. There is also enough space for a chest of drawers with the TV point being here too. There is an ensuite with a double shower.

The second bedroom is big enough to allow the eldest child to have their own space. Being the opposite side of the house to the master gives privacy that teens crave, and the width means a seating area could fit as well as bedroom furniture. The third bedroom is relatively square in shape and a lovely space for a younger child to call their own.

The fourth bedroom is being used as a dressing room by the current owners which is a testament to its usable size. There is also a built-in wardrobe which is over the stairs. These bedrooms are served by the family bathroom which is fully tiled around the bath, has a shower and glass shower screen.

Parking is provided by a carport plus ample community parking available.

More about the location.....

For a new development, Newton Leys is steeped in history. With some parts dating back as far as the Iron Age. However, it was more recently famous for brick-making from the late 19th Century, in the form of Newton Longville Brickworks. When the Brickworks closed in 1978, an old claypit was flooded to create Jubilee Lake, now more commonly known as Willow Lake, easily the jewel in Newton Leys' crown.

Newton Leys is a district that covers the southern tip of Bletchley and is split between the Borough of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Vale. Conveniently located next to the A4146 and A5, it gives easy access to Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard and the M1. You have a choice of either Bletchley or Leighton Buzzard Train Stations which both offer services directly into London Euston and Birmingham.

Newton Leys Primary School opened in 2016 and accepts children from age 3 (nursery) to age 11 (Year 6). Many parents take advantage of the Grammar Schools in Aylesbury for Secondary education being only approximately 11 miles away.

In 2017 Newton Leys District Centre opened providing local conveniences such as a Costa, Chinese Takeaway, Fish and Chip Shop, Dry Cleaners, Hair Salon and a 8000 sq. Ft Asda. At the end of April the Turing Key pub opened its doors and has already cemented itself as the heart of the community. It is in good company as there also numerous village pubs within a few miles such as The Three Locks at Stoke Hammond, The Crooked Billet at Newton Longville and The Betsey Wynne at Swanbourne.
