Built in 1987, This iconic a-framed lodge affords one of the prime plots, being at the end of a small cul-de-sac, backing onto woodland and the hillside and offering plenty of parking, privacy and the amazing water views. The lodge is formed over two floors and is extremely spacious, perfect for families, with a great deal of indoor and outdoor living space. It comes with an open plan lounge and dining room (with adjoining kitchen), large covered decked terrace, downstairs bathroom and with three upstairs bedrooms and a further shower room. There are double glazed windows and heating is by a modern air source (electric) heat pump system.
The park features a variety of facilities, including a leisure complex with indoor entertainment, a pool, spa and a gym. There are also restaurants, play area, a golf course and many fun activities. There is something for everyone. You have everything you need on-site that you may not need to leave the park grounds. In addition, Drimsynie Estate is a dog-friendly park, meaning you can bring your furry friends to your holiday home. The lodge will be purchased on a leasehold basis and can be used pretty much all year round (with the exception of midweek days in November and February). There is a local pub (The Goil) and supermarkets (Morrisons and Asda) deliver regularly to the village. Further professional services are available at both Dunoon or Helensburgh (both about 32.2 miles by car). Lochgoilhead also has a primary school, bowling club and health care facilities. Glasgow is approximately 54 miles away with Glasgow Airport being approximately 46 miles away. Arrochar (approximately 13 miles) has a main line rail station with services to and from Glasgow city centre as well as a sleeper to London.
Located at the north end of the Argyll Forest Park and within the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park, the area offers much in the way of outdoor pursuits including cycling routes, challenging hill climbs, walks, many miles of forest tracks for horse riding and other outdoor pursuits. The River Goil at Lochgoilhead has a good run of sea trout and salmon. Fishing permits can be acquired locally. Sea and loch fishing are also available in the area as well as a number of commercially run shoots and excellent stalking opportunities. Day permit red deer stalking is available from the Forestry Commission.
