Overview

Why Buy This Home?

Unlike the standard three bedroom home, this home has an abundance of versatile downstairs space. The front-facing kitchen boasts ample storage and countertop space, with appliances including a double oven, gas hob, integrated dishwasher, and fridge.

Due to the new extension at the rear, the living room is now in the middle of the house, creating a cosy snug, perfect for movie nights, This room features an electric fireplace and wall-mounted TV, with double doors opening into the family room.

The original dining room has been extended and now links up to the new garden room. A roof lantern has been added to create a bright family area. It is laid with wooden flooring and has bi fold doors expanding across the back. It makes a great space to sit and read a book or enjoy your morning coffee. The dining area can fit a table that seats at least eight people and has double doors that open onto the patio. Additionally, the converted garage now serves as a utility room and study at the front of the house and you can access this from the dining area.

The garden is a good size and is designed for low maintenance with artificial grass and there are various patio areas where you can have your garden furniture. The raised patio area at the back of the garden is the perfect spot to catch the sun. There is gate access to the driveway from the garden.

Upstairs, you will find three bedrooms. The master bedroom, located at the front of the house includes an ensuite, bay window and is spacious enough for a king-size bed, bedside tables, and sliding wardrobes. The ensuite has recently been renovated and features a three-piece suite with a double shower.

Bedroom two is also a double room, currently being used as a child's room and has space for wardrobes and chest of drawers. Bedroom three is a single room currently used by the youngest child with a cot and baby changing unit. Both bedrooms share the family bathroom, which has also been recently renovated and is partially tiled and includes a shower over the bath.

Lastly, there is parking on the driveway and off road to the front of the house.

More about this location.....

Far Bletchley is towards the Southwest of Bletchley. Bletchley is best known for Bletchley Park, the headquarters of Britain's World War II codebreaking organisation, and now a major tourist attraction. The National Museum of Computing is also located on the Park.

Chestnuts Primary School and Lord Grey Secondary School are within the school catchment. There are also alternative schools which are close by, these are Gilesbrook in Tattenhoe and Priory Rise In Tattenhoe Park.

Bletchley railway station is popular for commuters. It is on Sherwood Drive, which is on both the West Coast Main Line and the Bletchley-Bedford Marston Vale Line, a constituent part of the former Oxford-Cambridge Varsity Line that closed in 1967. However, a major project called East West Rail is underway to rebuild and reopen the route to the west of Bletchley to Bicester Village via Winslow. The line from Bicester Village to Oxford has already been rebuilt. Eventually, full services through to Cambridge are planned.

There is easy access to Central Bletchley as well as the A421 towards Central Milton Keynes, M1 junction 14 or Buckingham and the A5 towards Towcester or Hockliffe.

Windmill Hill Golf Centre is a municipal golf course and is less than a five minute drive, including a members club.

The local pubs close by are The Three Trees, The Eight bells, and Pasha Turkish Restaurant.

Green spaces are provided in the form of the award-winning Chepstow Local Park which is an informal area of just over 4 hectares, and is very popular with children and dog owners.

Westcroft District Centre is also close by and has a large retail development that serves this side of Milton Keynes (Tattenhoe, Emerson Valley, Furzton, Kingsmead, Shenley Brook End, Shenley Lodge, Oakhill, Shenley Wood, Shenley Church End and western West Bletchley). The District Centre includes a branch of Morrisons and other UK high street names, such as Boots, Aldi and Greggs.
