Situation

Newgrounds is a small hamlet close to Godshill situated on the Western part of the New Forest National Park and provides excellent access to the open heathland and forest for walking, riding and cycling. Sandy Balls Holiday Centre is 15 minutes away by footpath (or 5 minutes by car), where there is a leisure complex, pool, restaurant, pub and shop. Godshill’s traditional pub with good food is 10 minutes walk down the lane. Fordingbridge (2 miles) provides a range of supermarkets. Health, recreational and educational facilities, with easy access to Bournemouth, Southampton and the Cathedral City of Salisbury. There are a number of good local riding stables, golf clubs and fishing in the Avon Valley.
