    Comments from the owner:

    Property Key features

    - Private garden that backs onto a larger shared garden - there is direct access through the back gate to a secure, shared garden.
    - Modern fixtures - modern shower / bathroom fittings, modern kitchen with in built dishwasher, fridge, stone counter top.
    - Air filter - a quality inbuilt air filter is connected to multiple rooms. Most period properties in the area don't have this.
    - Modern downstairs bathroom, and open plan kitchen and living space, great for when guests visit.
    - Solar panels on the roof - a feed in tariff is available so we have been able to get money back for selling electricity to the grid.
    - Well insulated - there is double glazing and well insulated walls, we rarely need heating in winter and in the summer it can be cooled down more easily than other modern properties.

Top 3 things you love about your home

    1. The location - from our home all of the following is within walking distance:
    - The Thames riverside. There is a great atmosphere along the river, it is one of the best spots in London to watch the New Year's Eve fireworks, or get brunch at one of the cafes or pubs overlooking the water.
    - Greenwich park - with viewpoints to watch the sunset over the London skyline, and cherry blossom walk in the park, which tourists travel to see.
    - The marathon route (2 minutes from the front door).
    - Greenwich market - this is a short walk along the river from the house.
    - Popular pubs with a great atmosphere (the Trafalgar, Cutty Sark, Pelton Arms which often has live music).
    - The Maritime museum, Queens house, naval college and painted ceiling.

    2. From the back bedroom it benefits from a view of the O2 arena and a shared garden, while not being overlooked. From the front, it is opposite a pocket park with cherry trees. It is also located opposite a conservation area to the front, so the view from the front of the house is unlikely to change.

    3. It is modern and reliable - it hasn't needed a lot of work to maintain - great if you have a busy job and don't want to spend limited spare time doing diy.
Maze Hill station is 10 minute walk away with frequent trains to London Bridge, Cannon Street and King's Cross. Frequent buses to North Greenwich run from a stop 2 mins from the front door.
