The Sellers View
We have loved living in Fallows Road in Aldermaston Wharf! It’s a cracking house in a lovely location for all the family. It’s great house for the family with a lovely garden for family and friends get togethers. But even better, you have the park literally on your doorstep! I will particularly miss having the house on the edge of the countryside, which has been great for walks, runs, and bike rides. The added bonus for living at the wharf is that we are a 2-minute walk to the lovely Kennet & Avon Canal which we have used extensively for canoeing, paddle boarding and bike rides! We even cycled all the way to Bath on the canal over a couple of days in the summer!

If you don’t want to bike, the great news is that we are a 4-minute walk to Aldermaston train station which means we are less than a 15 minute commute to Newbury or Reading, and a 50 min commute to London Paddington for work, shopping, theatre nightlife and a tonne great things to do. One of our favourite things to do is jump on the train to Newbury racecourse, which has race days and concerts throughout the year!

The neighbours and community have been wonderful, and we are all a 2-minute walk to the local pub for socialising with a cold beer, and the best Fish and Chips! We hope you enjoy the house as much as we did!

The Agents View
Houses in this position rare come onto the market! Have you seen what it fronts onto?

The generous layout and accommodation gives you just over 2500 sqft of space. On the ground floor you've got a 23ft living room, formal dining room, WC, a large kitchen/dining room, conservatory and double garage. A corner of the garage has been converted into a utility room, but you don't really feel like you lose much space because of it. Theres also loads of storage in the garages roof, its fully boarded and has a pull down ladder for easy access.

The first floor lavishes you with three double bedrooms, one of which is the master bedroom with en suite and wardrobes. Bedroom two also has an en suite, you've got the family bathroom and a study.

Go up again and you've got two great double bedrooms and a shower room sandwiched in between them.

Outside, the garden is low maintenance and perfect for entertaining, with its large patio and composite decking area. The side access gate takes you to the driveway located in front of the double garage, with enough space to easily fit four regular cars.

The Area View
Fallows Road offers the best of countryside living, whilst being really well connected. This house in particular fronts onto Orchard Dene Recreational Park. With its play parks, football goals, basketball net and gym equipment, its an amazing position for those with children. Plus its a great place to walk the dog around, if you have one. The Butt Inn is only a 3 minute walk away, just the other side of the park and main road. From here the Kennet & Avon Canal is only a 2-3 minute walk and offers beautiful canal side walks, taking in the nature and maybe feeding the ducks. Two and a half minutes further on, you can find the entrance to Aldermaston Train Station. This give you great links to London, Reading, Newbury and beyond! Accessing bigger town amenities isn't a drama either. Tadley, Thatcham and Calcot are all within a 15 minute drive away, giving you lots of options for the large shop, meals out and anything you might need day to day. Junction 12 of the M4 is an 8 minute drive away to the north east of this home.
