"I remember thinking i'd have to embrace Penge if I wanted to own my own little piece of London, so was shocked and truly grateful when I found this gem in Bethnal Green. As my first place, i've enjoyed seeing the area develop, meaning better coffee, and a plethora of green spaces for me and my pugs, Herc & Berk, to enjoy. If we're feeling lazy we'll head to Bethnal Green Gardens, for a moderate walk we can walk to Victoria Park in about 10mins, and if we're trying to rival Mo Farrah, we take a stroll down the canal through Mile End and beyond. As soon as you enter the estate you're greeted by an amazing bright mural, commissioned by the owner and tenant led co-op. It makes me smile every time I pass it, and is a physical sign of the genuine warmth, vibrancy and diversity of this community."
