If I stayed in the area it was either a 2 bed flat above a shop or move a bit further out and get a two bedroom house with a garden & garage. It turned out it was actually quicker to get to the office in Heathrow than where I was living previously because of how accessible commuting wise Farnborough really is. Since living here, Hawley Woods has become one of my favourite places to go, whether it be for a walk around the lake in the evening or just to get out on the bike over there as it's a welcome bit of peace. The neighbours / neighbourhood are really friendly and welcoming so i'll be sorry to move from here.

Area Comment:
Farnborough is a popular and busy town that is very well served for commuting with nearby access to junctions 4 & 4A of the M3, as well as having Farnborough Main train station with direct trains to London, and also Farnborough North station. The town centre is very well equipped with various shops, restaurants and leisure facilities as well as many other local amenities. There is a great selection of local schools and colleges including Farnborough Sixth Form and Farnborough College of Technology nearby.
