About this property

  • Quiet Cul-De-Sac

  • Three Bedrooms

  • Kitchen/Diner

  • West Facing Garden

  • Garage

  • Access To Countryside Walks

Overview. There is plenty to fall in love with in this three bedroom home, with the stand out feature being the spacious kitchen/diner. Previously two separate rooms, it is now one open space, perfect for entertaining and with excellent work prep space. The kitchen has oak work tops and an island. We like the fact that the double doors from the sitting room provides the flexibility of two separate rooms or one large area that flows perfectly. The wood effect floor throughout the ground floor adds to that flow affect. The sitting rooms is a good size with plenty of space for furniture. On the first floor are the three bedrooms, with bedrooms two and three to the front, whilst bedroom one and the bathroom are to the rear. Bedroom one also has the benefit of built in wardrobes. The garden to the rear is west facing and enclosed by fencing to three sides and the wooded area behind adds to the privacy of the garden. There is a garage on block, which has storage under the pitched roof and a parking space in front.

The property tenure is freehold.

Location. We really like the position of this home in Longhurst. Located off Kings Way on the Eastern side of the town, Longhurst is a quiet cul-d-sac, perfect for families with the benefit of very little passing traffic. There are a good range of nurseries and primary schools in the local area, with Burgess Hill Academy or St Paul's Catholic College being the choice for secondary schools. Birchwood Grove Primary is just over half a mile on foot, whilst Manor Field is just over a mile away. There is a pathway at the rear of Longhust which provides a short cut through to the station via Ferndale Road which is approximately three quarters of a mile – perfect for commuters where trains to London Bridge and London Victoria are around one hour. For daily essentials, there is a Co-op within a 5 minute walk. Follow nearby Folders Lane and within a few moments, you can be out in the countryside at Ditchling Common Nature Reserve – a firm favourite with dog walkers or head south towards the village of Ditchling. If you head east, you'll end up at Plumpton. The B2112 takes you north towards Wivelsfield Green and Haywards Heath.
