Stunning Renovation In White Waltham!

Owners comments...

We moved to White Waltham 2 years ago as we wanted more space and a large private garden. The location of it being on a quiet private cul-de-sac were one of the first things that caught our attention.

Needless to say the house needed modernising and we’ve spent the last 2 years making this house our dream home. It’s been a labour of love and the full renovation has been finished to the highest standard, which includes; new kitchen, utility, 3.5 bathrooms a living area and separate snug. The house has been fitted with a new heating system powered by an air source heat pump.

We even took the opportunity to completely remodel the garden with a fair bit of levelling, new patios and fencing. Allowing us to take advantage of the full day of sun.

Another huge bonus is that there is a great community feel. The neighbours are all extremely friendly, welcoming, and have always been there when we've needed. There's even an active Whatsapp group. Everyone keeps an eye out for each other, and there is no reason to come down here unless you're a resident or are visiting someone, so it feels really secure.

One of our favourite parts of the house is the fantastic local walks. Having an energetic Labrador means we’re out everyday and having a new place to take him away from busy roads is fantastic.

The house is also great for convenience. It's only a 10minute drive to the town centre and train station, and just 5min to the M4 with the M40 also within easy access. Crossrail has meant the commute into London is short and simple. There are several shops within walking distance as well as a lovely local pub.

We're extremely sad to be leaving, but our circumstances have changed and we are moving closer to family. It's an opportunity for someone else to enjoy the house and we hope it brings them as much joy as us.

Stuart's comments...

I was blown away by the works the owners have done to the house - the flow is beautiful and the standard of finish is exquisite and stylish throughout. Firstly, there's a huge entrance hall with the downstairs toilet and stairs going upstairs. Straight in front of you you'll find the snug with a wood burner, bespoke fitted shelving and storage with views over the garden. Back through the entrance hall and you'll find another door bringing you into the main living room, leading into the dining area of the kitchen. Cleverly placed pocket doors mean this space can be totally open or totally closed depending on your mood. The dining area opens into the garden and flows seamlessly into the kitchen with a dual aspect including bi-folding doors opening into the side garden. The garden is huge and wraps around three sides of the house! You've also got a utility room and a study downstairs as well.
Upstairs is where you'll find equally as beautiful finishes; starting with the main bedroom suite with eaves storage, a en-suite shower room and an adjoining dressing room. The dressing room could easily be switched back into a fourth double bedroom if that better suits your needs. Bedroom three is currently set up as a study and is a comfortable double, and bedroom two has an en-suite shower room. There's a family bathroom up here to finish it all off.

The attention to detail is incredible, so get in touch and we can arrange for you to have a look in person.

Area comments...

White Waltham is a beautiful village around 3 miles from the centre of Maidenhead where you'll find the station and a lovely town centre undergoing a big regeneration with plenty of shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, and entertainment. The station will get you into London Paddington in around 20 mins, and it also benefits from the connectivity of the Elizabeth "Lizzy" Line underground as well. White Waltham Village is where you'll find a well regarded primary school, an excellent pub and plenty of countryside and greenspace to explore. It's within easy reach of the M40 (Junction 4) and M4 (Junction 8/9) as well.
