Macenas Beach offers a fabulous all-round holiday destination that remains typically Spanish in tradition however providing the easy access to the beaches of the Natural Park and Cabo de Gata-Nijar, both areas are, without doubt, un-spoilt, uncrowded and simply stunning.

Last year, the upmarket social club was opened. You can become a member or pay as you go for services. Here you can enjoy the infinity pool (with Balinese beds and hammocks), in a luxury setting or partake in some Yoga, join the Gym classes, relax at the coffee shop or book into one of the two restaurants such as lacala, a new restaurant serving casual Mediterranean cuisine located in the Beach Club of Macenas Resort.

More additions are being announced such as a onsite supermarket and medical clinic.

Macenas Beach, is one of these protected beaches and offers an exclusive gated community (previously Macenas Golf); The landmarks would include Torre del Perulico on the cliff edge and the ancient defence tower Castillo de Macenas. The next beach along is El Sombrerico, which can be reached on foot or by car along a dirt track. Further south, from Cala Bordenares to Cala Granatilla, there are more beautiful natural beaches, perfect for diving and snorkelling. There are many different hiking trails in the area too.

The property is located 92km from Almeria or from Murcia 156km.

The promenade of Mojacar is a 2km walk away along the coastal path. This development is on the main bus route. Within a radius of 30km you will find a number of golf courses. Almeria and its airport is less than 1 hour by car.
