The large department stores of Peter Jones in Sloane Square and Harrods are reasonably close by with the fashionable boutiques and restaurants of Kings Road and Fulham Road tempting you in. There are numerous restaurants bars and pubs within a few minutes of the house
There are also plenty of Pubs in the area and many good spots for a couple of cool relaxing drinks and good dining. The River Thames is a 15 minute walk away as well in the other direction are the famous London museums of South Kensington. Also the Saatchi Gallery in Kings Road is a must see.
